2003 "Monopole" Pinot Noir

The wine reflects a beautiful ruby hue with gemlike qualities. The wild strawberry nose is profound in this vintage as is the intense ripe red bing cherry fruit that follows and infuses the palate with the glorious complexity of this recent vintage. The lush velvety center of this wine maintains itself all the way to the typical Windward Vineyard Peacock Tail finish that has become a classic, characteristic gift of the dense mineralization of the terrior that supports these unique Pinot Noir clones. This wine can be paired with a variety of spicy foods today and it will slowly mature and develop it's signature layered complexity and earth tones for many, many years to come. Production:1664 cases.
