2007 Gold "Barrel Select" Pinot Noir

Once again, Windward responded to the request of its fans and produced a Barrel Select Gold Label. The “Gold” bottling consists of only 10 selected barrels that represent only 2 of the 4 Pinot Noir Clones that are planted in the vineyard. These 2 clones, from the Vosgne Romanee area of Burgundy are more intense producers and therefore the ’07 is a more masculine and “bigger mouthful” of wine than the Windward ’07 Pinot Noir.
