2010 Estate Monopole Pinot Noir

This was an especially cool vintage and we harvested about 1.5 Tons/Acre. The result is an expressive and extracted minerality that balances the delicate nature of the Pinot Noir fruit in a beautiful dance on the palate that Windward Vineyard has provided over the past 21 years. Very open and drinkable for so young a wine, it also promises to age gently over an extended period of time. From the delicate wild strawberry nose to the sophisticated and elongated finish it is a vintage that proudly displays its Burgundian influence and uniqueness for a “New World” Pinot Noir.
