"Exclusively Pinot Noir" is the hallmark of Windward Vineyard. Owners/operators Marc Goldberg and Maggie D'Ambrosia specialize in 100 percent estate grown and produced Burgundian-style, handcrafted Pinot Noir.
Named for the cool Pacific Ocean winds that breeze through the Templeton Gap in the Santa Lucia Mountain Chain, on the Westside of Paso Robles, Windward Vineyard Pinot Noir is testimony to the unique microclimate and terroir of the area.
Windward Vineyard is a small family winery dedicated exclusively to the growth and production of estate bottled Burgundian-style Pinot Noir. Owners Marc and Maggie are convinced that the site's rocky limestone, sloping well-drained soil and microclimate of the west side of the Paso Robles appellation had all the elements required to produce exceptional Pinot Noir.
Windward Vineyard produces only, on the average, 2000 cases per year. Given the small production Windward Pinot Noir is usually found at small quality restaurants and retail shops and does not enjoy wide distribution.
